A Beginning of Chapter: The Inauguration of IWDPA
Thanjavur witnesses the rise of a movement dedicated to empowering women through identity, skills, and recognition.
The Beginning of a Bold Vision
In the heart of Thanjavur, where tradition meets progress, a powerful new movement was born — the International Women’s Dream Power Association (IWDPA). With a clear mission to support and uplift women through structured training, recognition, and personal growth, IWDPA was officially inaugurated in 2024–2025 in the presence of respected leaders, educators, and change-makers.
The atmosphere was not just ceremonial — it was emotionally charged, driven by purpose, and filled with promise.
Inauguration Led by Dignitaries with Purpose
The inauguration was proudly initiated by Dr. Anjugam Boopathy, the Deputy Mayor of Thanjavur, whose deep commitment to women’s development laid a strong foundation for the movement. Her presence symbolized more than protocol — it was a sign that governance and grassroots empowerment can go hand-in-hand.
Also gracing the occasion was Dr. Radhika Michael, Chairman of MR Hospital, who emphasized the importance of mental and emotional wellness in women’s empowerment — a core focus area within IWDPA.
The presence of Chairman Vivek Priya, Secretary Parvathi Sivadhanu, and the panel board led by Auro Vivek Ravi and Viknesh Saminadhan brought strength and structure to the event, clearly defining IWDPA’s leadership and future direction.
The Founder’s Dream: A Voice for Every Woman
At the heart of the event stood Priya Vivek, the Founder and Chairman of IWDPA, whose vision sparked this mission. Her message was simple, yet profound:
“Empowerment begins with recognition. Every woman deserves a space where her skills, voice, and dreams are valued. IWDPA is that space.”
She spoke passionately about her dream — to see an IWDPIAN in every family. Not just a woman with training, but a woman with clarity, confidence, and identity.
What IWDPA Stands For
Unlike many organizations that stop at awareness, IWDPA goes deeper. Its programs span across:
Technical Skills
Soft Skills
Entrepreneurial & Financial Skills
Unique Talent Development
Mental Wellness & Counseling
Each domain is handled by an expert director under the Skill Board, ensuring that women don’t just learn — they evolve.
Whether it’s a school student discovering her voice, a homemaker starting a new career, or a senior woman re-discovering her worth, IWDPA is open to women from age 6 to 60+.
A Movement, Not Just a Moment
The inaugural event wasn’t just the launch of an organization — it was the beginning of a long-term journey. One that’s already seeing interest across districts, communities, and age groups. With future satellite centers, online programs, workshops, and mentorship panels in the pipeline, IWDPA aims to reach every corner where a woman dreams of more.
The IWDPA Inauguration is more than a date on the calendar — it’s the first heartbeat of a community that believes in recognizing, empowering, and celebrating every woman.
And this is just the beginning.
